World Games Berlin 2023

From 17 to 25 June 2023, the Special Olympics World Games took place in Berlin and for the first time in Germany. The World Games were the world’s largest inclusive sports event with thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities coming together to compete. The event was a colorful festival of sports – with the aim of achieving greater recognition and social participation of people with intellectual disabilities in our society.
