I lost my mom to Leukemia years ago. It was the hardest thing I’ve had to go through. She was a big part of my life and one of my biggest supporters. She told me that if I want a dream, I had to go after it. My dream was to go to the World Games that is what I’m doing, I’m going after it for her. It has been hard adjusting to life without my mom. I have had to learn how to navigate my life without her. I have to stay healthy by continuing to work out, eat healthy and keep my body clean. My sisters and my Dad live close to me and we help each other.
