Q & A
What is one barrier you have overcome? How did you do it and what did you learn?
One barrier I have overcome is my shyness, especially in social situations at sports events, which I truly enjoy. As someone with autism, I often find it challenging to communicate with others, but I pushed myself to engage more in the lively atmosphere of these events. By gradually participating and observing how others interact, I learned to feel more comfortable in these environments. This experience taught me that it’s okay to take small steps and that connecting with others can lead to great joy and a sense of belonging.
