One barrier I have overcome is dealing with the loss of my mother, whom I had cared for. Her passing was incredibly hard, but spending time with my family and friends at the day center helped me through it. I realized I have people around me who support me, and I learned that I am capable of caring for others, too. This experience taught me about resilience and the strength that comes from connection.
