Sport gave Federica an extra incentive to face difficulties, every moment spent with her classmates playing sport was a moment of celebration and lightheartedness. She immediately integrated into the group, regularly participating in activities, meetings and national and regional swimming championships, achieving good results. The moment of departure was experienced with intense frenzy in preparing the suitcase with particular attention well in advance (even a month before). She sometimes participated in the demonstrations alone and she did not have any particular problems using the plane and other means. With sport and the knowledge of new friends she has managed to be more self-confident in her own abilities, becoming increasingly independent by managing her daily activities even if with some understandable difficulty.
