I couldn’t talk until i was around 7-8 yrs old. I had many speech therapists to help me. I was very shy and had new glasses every 8 months because my vision was poor . As a result I was very reserved and quiet and afraid to try new things, as I learned to talk I didn’t need my touch talker. I learned to communicate with words and sign language. It has helped me not to be so shy and to remember. Others may have a hard time communicating and to be patient and listen to others as they try to communicate
