Sports has helped me be a team player at work. I work in a large office and have many coworkers. We work as a team to get our projects done. Just like on a sports team – I do my best to help my co-workers to achieve our goals. Sports has also helped me become a more independent individual. When competing I organize and care for my equipment, warm-up and prepare for my practices / events. I have learned to focus on my races which has helped me focus in other parts of my life as well. I received my Driver’s License 2 years ago. I worked hard, just like in sports, to pass the required tests. Driving has helped me become a much more independent person which I am very proud of.
